1. Pretty Doctor Mabel wed engineer Durai

On the second of May in nineteen fifty one

Their faith in God grew stronger with every passing year

They walked hand in hand through life’s sunshine and tears.

They kept an open house for family and friends

3. Taking part in church activity was their top priority

Mabel organ-playing, Durai choir-mastering

IMS, Cathedral saw their fund-raising ability

Mabel made the prizes and Durai held the games.

4. Four brilliant gems of children adorn their family

Malathi, Suresh, Kamali and Roshini,

The years saw new additions - Gladwin, Lallu, Preetham,

Dilip, Nisha, Sonya, Nikhil do their family proud.
